Health-Conscious Twist on Halloween
School Information
In a fun and health-conscious twist on Halloween, Pine Springs Day School hosted its inaugural “Fruit or Treat” Halloween celebration. With enthusiastic support from parents, staff members served a colorful variety of fresh fruits to students and community members, promoting healthy eating habits over traditional sugary snacks and drinks.
The event also featured an educational component led by Dr. Brezial, the school principal and a current nursing student, along with Ms. Puente, grades 2–4 teacher. Together, they guided students through their third human anatomy lesson of the semester, focusing on the long-term effects of sugar on the body’s organs.
